Drone Challenge: Abertis lancia la sua prima sfida internazionale con i droni

Abertis, uno dei principali operatori autostradali al mondo con circa 8.000 chilometri in 15 paesi tra Europa, America e Asia, all’interno del programma Beyond Roads | Abertis Innovation, ha lanciato la sua prima challenge “Drone Challenge” con obiettivo di identificare soluzioni innovative che sfruttino la tecnologia dei droni per il migliorare le operazioni stradali e la manutenzione delle infrastrutture.

Di seguito alcune informazioni:

  • What is Abertis looking for? To identify startups and organizations with the potential to become Abertis suppliers, and which should offer innovative, high-impact drone technology-based solutions to address the challenge presented by Abertis.
  • The Challenge: How could we go one step further in using drones and their embedded technology to keep on enhancing our high-capacity road operations and maintenance?
  • Use Case 01: Solutions to enhance the operational activities of our high-capacity roads that address areas such as traffic management, road operation support, effective response to emergencies, and adverse weather events on highways.
  • Use Case 02: Solutions to improve infrastructure maintenance activities, such as the inspection or rehabilitation of pavements and structures.
  • Eligibility criteria:
    1. Startups and SMEs with innovative and effective solutions, based on drone technology and responding to the challenge launched by Abertis.
    2. Those startups and SMEs with a TRL level equal to or greater than 7, having a proven technology or proof of concept in the relevant environment.
    3. International startups and SMEs. The solution will carry out the pilot in a country where Abertis operates and that is geographically closest to the solution country of origin. (*)Argentina, México, Brazil, Chile, Puerto Rico, USA, Italy, France, Spain, India.
    4. Startups and SMEs with original proposals, which do not belong to the industrial or / and intellectual property of third parties.
