Gualtiero Vuillermin, a company which has been working with stone at international level since 1951, specialises in the mining, processing, and sale of a wide range of Italian and overseas granites.Our quarries, situated throughout Val d'Aosta and Piedmont, provide a very special material to customers from all over the world: silver-green granite and Courtil stone. Our premises near Verrès in Val d'Aosta, which cover an area of 120,000 square feet (35,000 of which are roofed), include workshops with the latest technology to allow us to do many different types of work and meet all our customers' needs. In 1998 we opened a "Stone Works" in Issogne, where we make and sell stone for building, roofing tiles, stanchions, fountains, and assorted types of city furniture.

Our company specialises in planning and making on-site measurements with the use of digital equipment. Our work is done to the utmost of our ability at every stage, up to the completion of extremely technological workshops by qualified craftsmen. At Gualtiero Vuillermin we use the latest type of machinery, and this allows us to work with blocks of stone, kitchens, shelving, showers, bathrooms, and we use a special water jets for tessellated floors and customised logos. Among our latest developments, we are now making "Crocodile Stone" and reproducing branches, rear-illumination for onyx walls and the illumination of shower trays using coloured LEDs.

In 2011, when we turned 60, the company underwent further expansion; this was not merely technological, but also geographical, and we were able to take our stone to the four corners of the globe. Indeed, a full 60% of our turnover comes from overseas, especially France and Switzerland, but we must not forget Singapore, the Maldives, Miami, Hong Kong, Vienna, and Budapest. We are very strong on international markets thanks also to our presence at international trade fairs, such as Lausanne, Geneva, and La Roche-sur-Foron in France.
