The Bernardini family (which has worked in the food and beverage sector for many years) has taken on the Vertosan brand, which in its time was famous above all for the production of the CIARDON bitter liqueur, made with milk thistle. As part of renewing the tradition of the ’new’ Vertosan, the family has continued with recipes of Genepy and other infusions (such as Mountain Pine Liqueur) which are strongly linked to the area. Vertosan is always on the lookout for new flavours and reinterpretations, which are created with passion in the workshop at Châtillon, and loves to offer its clients products which have a politely vintage feel.

The two most innovative Genepys are the barrel-aged Riserva and Zerbion (produced with green wormwood herbs). Alongside the classic Genepy (which Vertosan has decided to call Riservato agli Amici – Reserved for Friends) there is also honey-flavoured Genepy.

In the Vertosan range there is also space for local single-variety grappas, such as Fumin and Morgex.

Dulcis in fundo is a captivating mountain pine liqueur with an aromatic taste.

The Bernardini family takes direct charge of both production and sales. Vertosan manages to make reasonably frequent visits to everywhere in the Aosta region. We can be contacted from abroad in both English and French, so as to help clients with export documentation.
