For over 40 years the cooperative has continued the ancient tradition of loom wool weaving. Over the years it is characterised by its increasing use of Rosset wool, a native breed of the Aosta Valley in danger of extinction, used mainly for making made-to-measure clothing. Its textiles have traditionally furnished mountain homes and hotels. It creates the soft furnishings or clothing requested by private or corporate clients.

Les Tisserands looms weaves fabric for: curtains, upholstery, blankets, lap blankets, shawls, scarves, jackets, coats, suits, anoraks, skirts, bags, accessories, ties, slippers and much more as well as fabric by the metre.

Gamma Tressages: a product line in 100% wool from the Aosta Valley and Ecofriendly leather produced in collaboration with Minel (leather workers).The wools used, both natural and dyed, are all 100% Italian and from the Aosta Valley.

The cooperative creates innovative products made with traditional techniques from Valgrisenche. It offers unique, non standardised, authentic, artisan and quality products. It believes in traceability and sells products which carry within the history of the area. Wool leftovers are used to make friendly colourful dolls.

Free guided tours for schools and groups can be organised to visit the workshop and the exhibition “Drap: the woven soul of a community”.
