La Boutique del pane (the Bread Boutique) was founded at the end of the 1960s by Leonia and Franco Glavinaz, the latter being the descendant of a long line of bakers. The business was taken over by their son Erik in 1996.
The business focuses on producing:
- different kinds of bread (produced with traditional and other methods)
- grissini (bread sticks)
- sweets and cakes from the local tradition “Flantze, Tortzeton, Piatte di Saint Vincent”
- and even simple tarts with different kinds of jam
For over 40 years all the products have been sold in the sales point at Saint-Vincent, in the Riviera of the Alps.
The company works at various different trade fairs, including:
- Lo Matson - Courmayeur
- Marche au fort - Forte di Bard
- Sant'Orso - Aosta
