La Casa di Terra S.n.c. was founded for the manufacture and sale of sustainable building materials, following an initial input from Tullio Treves. With the passage of time, La Casa di Terra has become a team of people who want to be the datum point for those who believe in harmonious environmental development and who want to live in places which are free from substances which are harmful to humans and other living creatures. La Casa di Terra contrasts with simple modern specialisation criteria (however important they may be), which are often a source of division and which often destroy our human dignity. Building With Us obviously goes beyond the use of natural materials, now known as sustainable materials, and when preparing for building work first and foremost tries to find dialogue between the main actors in the building process (property owner–architect–builder) so that we can all have somewhere which morally and freely sustains man's development in the world.

The model home built by La Casa di Terra is based on organic building systems, where every individual element and material is connected to the overall structure. It is upon such a cognitive base that our search for new products is based. We are now able to offer a completely natural Insulating material made of hemp and natural starch, and thus completely cut out the oil industry.
