Institut Agricole Régional

L’Institut Agricole Régional (Regional Agricultural Institute) conducts technical-professional instruction and professional training work in the Aosta Valley, as well as research and experimentation in the agricultural field, also in relation to the need for environmental protection and defence of the area suited to a mountain environment.

The research work of the foundation is focused on experimenting with farming, methods and techniques which could be useful to the development of regional agriculture and to managing the area, following to the needs of the agricultural user, of the department in charge of agriculture and of the autonomous programmes for scientific investigation at the foundation, in line with the principles of the regional policy of the sector.

The experimentation is also conducted through the production, conservation, transformation and marketing of agricultural products.

The company produces and sells:

  • fruit and vegetable products
  • fresh and mature dairy products
  • meat
  • white table wines and DOC wines
  • red table wines and DOC wines
  • barrel-matured table and DOC wines
  • table rosé wines
  • sparkling table wine

The Regional Agricultural Institute is present in the following foreign markets: Canada, USA, Belgium, Japan.
