The organic farm Rosa delle Alpi is located in the municipality of Ayas. It is first and foremost a life project which with time has grown bringing satisfaction and becoming a path in constant evolution.
It is in this unique environment that Annalisa and Johnny, the two young owners, began their journey. Initially they supported their family in its thirty year-old business, before they took the reins themselves, building on their dreams day by day.
They developed a passion for bees, beginning with a handful of beehives but producing excellent honey from the start. With time the beehives grew in number and were joined by growing small fruit (raspberries, blackcurrants and blueberries), officinal plants (arnica, mint, edelweiss, genepy, mallow) and recently mountain vegetables (potatoes, beetroot, cabbage, carrots), all at 1700m above sea level.
The farm also raises cattle and goats.
In the workshop, the fruit is transformed into jam, jelly and other delicacies with creativity, imagination and following traditional regional recipes.
An organic approach is followed in transforming officinal and aromatic plants into high-quality cosmetic products which boast all the characteristics and benefits what nature has always held.
The partners personally look after the gathering the flowers at the right balsamic time, the plants and drying them between July and September. These are unique products, created with officinal herbs from the mountains of the Aosta Valley for the care and wellbeing of the body.
