The Le Motte farm business has land in Cogne at nearly 1,800 metres, with 3.5 hectares farmed. All farming has been carried out organically since the company’s creation in 2007.

The vegetables which best adapt to the climatic conditions are produced (potatoes, lettuce, cauliflowers, leeks, garlic, peas…) and small fruit (raspberries, strawberries, redcurrants) and aromatic plants.

The company also processes these products to make preserves, jams and spirits.

All the products are biologically certified and each production cycle is subject to HACCP control.

Strawberries are grown higher than anywhere else in Europe, at 1770 metres.

The Genepy spirit is produced by following the traditional recipe, maintaining the aromas and smells of the aromatic plant.

The Le Motte farm has high quality, small production volumes, with tastes and smells brought out by the altitude where they are produced and by natural cultivation methods.
